The College Coaches Skills Camp will feature a morning session that will run from 8:00 AM-11:00 AM and an afternoon session that will run from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM. Each session will have limited enrollment and once capacity is filled registration will close.

You will notice that that the last hour of the morning session and first hour of the afternoon session, 11:00 AM-12:00 PM we will have a interactive discussion on College Athletics. Many parents and players consider this segment alone to be worth the price of admission. This discussion gives the college coaches an opportunity to talk with prospects and their families about the college recruiting process. Topics like, "What do Coaches Look For?", "Should I have a video and what should it look like?", and basic NCAA rules and regulations will be covered.

ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE

  • Instruction from all coaches attending the event.
  • Opportunities to ask questions and get to know the college coaches.
  • One-on-one and small group instruction.
  • An open discussion about the NCAA recruiting process, rules, and regulations (parents are encouraged to either stay or come back for this segment. Questions are encouraged as to help answer questions and bust myths about the recruiting process).
  • All campers will receive a Division I quality, moisture wicking men's t-shirt at check-in to wear during camp and take home.

CCSC LACROSSE WILL NOT EXCEED AN 8:1 COACH-TO-PLAYER RATIO
REGISTER ONLINE TO GUARANTEE A PLACE IN CAMP

Each segment of camp will consist of player evaluation and skill training on the technical and tactical competences of the game. Players will be taken through a series of drills to work on all of these various skills. There will be a position based skills session as well. Players will have the opportunity to work with college coaches in their specific position.

It is very important to know that each session has a limited enrollment. We aim for a player-to-coach ratio of 6:1 but will not exceed 8:1. This ensures that the coaches can spend quality time with all players attending and are not overwhelmed with large numbers while in instructional or evaluative settings. This also ensures that prospects will have time to interact with the coaches and learn from them in various group and one-on-one interactions.

THE COLLEGE COACHES ARE ON THE FIELD ALL DAY
JUST LIKE THEY ARE FOR THEIR OWN PRACTICES & GAMES

HOW WILL THE COACHES BE INVOLVED IN THE CAMP?
At the College Coaches Skills Camp the college coaches will be on the field working directly with you throughout the entire day. They will run each station and coordinate the event with the staff at the College Coaches Skills Camp. You will be able to ask questions and get to know the coaches. They will be able to do the same with you. Come prepared to work directly with college coaches to showcase your skills and learn from them at the same time.  Coaches need to know how players receive and execute instruction. The College Coaches Skills Camp gives high school players and college coaches the opportunity to work together in a small group and one-on-one atmosphere.

CCSC LACROSSE IS RUN BY CURRENT COLLEGE COACHES
